2026 CONFERENCE SCHOLARSHIP

VACA is pleased to announce four scholarships for the upcoming conference in Waynesboro, Virginia, October 7 - 9, 2026.  This year we are especially pleased to offer these scholarship opportunities.  The scholarships are available to VACA members only and you must have a current (ACTIVE or ASSOCIATE) membership to qualify.  The following scholarships are available:

• Conference registration & 3 days lodging (ACTIVE membership only)...............$580 value
• Conference registration.............................................................................................$250 value
• Conference registration (NACA Sponsored Scholarship)......................................$250 value
  
• Conference registration (Past President Scholarship)...........................................$250 value

Scholarships are intended for ACTIVE or ASSOCIATE members from financially challenged jurisdictions at the request of local jurisdictional governments or animal welfare leadership.  Applicants may apply for all scholarships.  If you have been awarded a scholarship in the past year, you are ineligible for this year.  All applicants must be current (ACTIVE or ASSOCIATE) members in good standing.  Applications must be received on or before August 1, 2026 to qualify.  Applications must be completed in their entirety.
